When Moira Rogers asked me to write up a little post about whether I prefer a strong strapping vampire lumberjack or a werewolf bootlegger, my first instinct was to go to the vamp side. Who can resist a sweaty man, in flannel, that also would love to take a sip from your neck? But wait! When I really started thinking about it – Smexy loves her cocktails and boxed wine. In a world of prohibition, my hero would be the bootlegger. And tell me he shifts into a lethal werewolf, and my friends, we have a winner. A hot sexy werewolf that also smuggles me my 5 o’clock drinks? I’m in love.
What does this have to do with you? Moira Rogers has their book, Sanctuary Unbound, featuring the smexy flannel wearing vampire lumberjack out tomorrow. Later this summer, Safe Harbor will be released and we will then have the chance to read about a hot werewolf bootlegger. To celebrate, Moira Rogers is giving away a Kindle (or $275 gift certificate to an online bookseller of your choice).

So a Vampire lumber jack does sound sexy with all that plaid and all. However, I imagine a werewolf bootlegger as a gruff and sexy with the added benefit of an unlimited supply of booze. And as someone who is very close to the world of legal drinking(I'm almost 21!), the bootlegger has definite appeal.

I really like both but I'm siding with Team Vampire Lumberjack. I haven't read the books yet but have always been a vampire fan even before Twilight. From what I've read the older the better. Age bring more powers and some can actually shift in to a wolf form. I say 2 for 1. YUM!

I can be a trouble maker, I want both, shame on me huh,blame it on some really good posts numbering the wolf advantage of being able to be out at all times of the day and the fact that he's warm and really alive and can share a real meal of food. Although the wolfie can take care of me 24/7 and the vamp can only manage about half,he's still strong, mustled and sexy as hell, maybe they won't mind sharing, I wouldn't mind it. After all why can't I have my cake and eat it too.
